Upcoming K-Drama My Dearest Nemesis Releases New Teaser
tvN’s upcoming drama My Dearest Nemesis has released a new teaser! Based on a popular webtoon, it follows the love story of a man and woman who first meet through their online game characters in school, then reunite 16 years later as boss and employee.
The new teaser opens with Ban Ju Yeon and Baek Su Jeong locking eyes romantically, as Baek Su Jeong says in voice-over, “For example, something like first love?” But the moment is interrupted when Ban Ju Yeon dismissively replies, “What sort of outdated Cinderella story is this?” Frustrated, Baek Su Jeong swears as she watches her boss walk away.
As they bicker, both start to feel a strange familiarity with each other. Ban Ju Yeon asks, “Haven’t we met before?” Baek Su Jeong recalls her first love, “Black Dragon,” calling him the “wretched, embarrassing dark stain on my past.” Ban Ju Yeon also finds his own first love memory equally painful, describing it as “the absolute worst.”
The My Dearest Nemesis teaser ends with Baek Su Jeong raising a glass and asking, “As comrades with the worst first loves ever, shall we toast to that?”
Mun Ka Young plays Baek Su Jeong, a skilled and determined team leader at Yongseong Department Store’s strategic planning division. Known for her grit and courage, she’s earned the nickname “division director killer” for standing up to her bosses.
Choi Hyun Wook stars as Ban Ju Yeon, a chaebol heir and the new director of the same division. A perfectionist and the sole heir to his family’s conglomerate, he must keep his hobby and alter ego, “Black Dragon,” a secret to maintain his image.
My Dearest Nemesis is set to premiere on February 17 at 8:50 p.m. KST, bringing a unique blend of romance and humor.
