Under the Moonlight C-Drama Premiere Date Revealed

The highly anticipated historical suspense Chinese drama Under the Moonlight has officially confirmed its premiere date for January 14. The series revolves around Luo Shu, a brave and determined woman who finds herself trapped in the challenges of life but refuses to give up. She takes matters into her own hands, using her courage and intellect to break free from the suffocating situation she faces.

As the story unfolds, viewers will witness her incredible journey of self-discovery, overcoming obstacles, and facing intense challenges that not only test her strength but also her wit and survival instincts. With its engaging plot and complex character dynamics, Under the Moonlight promises to captivate audiences with its thrilling twists and emotional depth.

When Luo Shu (Hu Bing Qing) was a young girl, life was difficult after her family lost all their money. To change her future, she decided to help the new county magistrate, Han Mu Zhi (He Peng), with a big case. Because of this, she temporarily worked as a constable in the county office. During this time, she met Qi Meng Lin (Zhai Zi Lu), a young nobleman who wanted to make a name for himself in the martial world. Luo Shu was skilled at solving strange cases, so she teamed up with Meng Lin to work on them together. Many of the cases they solved involved women. They faced ten famous murder cases, including the shocking “Headless Woman Case,” the mysterious “Fenhe River Corpse Case,” and the dangerous “Winery Murder Case.” Luo Shu and Qi Meng Lin did everything they could to bring justice to the women involved. But soon, a much bigger conspiracy started to unfold.

Some characters in the show are hurt by false rumors, some get lost in life, and others meet sad endings. With every complicated case and the characters’ stories, viewers are pulled into a world full of mysteries that are hard to figure out.

The show paints a clear picture of everyday life, slowly revealing the complexity of human behavior and the different sides of society during the Ming Dynasty.
