Seo Hyun Jin Returns as a Doctor in Upcoming K-Drama Love Me

On February 8, it was officially confirmed that Seo Hyun Jin will take on the lead role in the highly anticipated romance K-drama Love Me. Known for her compelling performances in medical dramas, Seo Hyun Jin will once again portray a doctor, bringing depth and emotion to the character.

Love Me follows a woman who has wealth, beauty, and status but struggles to find true happiness. Adapted from the 2019 Swedish drama by Josephine Bornebusch, the series will explore love, personal growth, and the search for fulfillment beyond material success.

The upcoming K-drama Love Me marks the next project of director Jo Young Min (known for Two Women, The Interest of Love, and Do You Like Brahms?) and writers Park Eun Young and Park Hee Kwon, who previously created The Third Charm and I Have Not Done My Best Yet. It will be produced by SLL and How Pictures.

Seo Hyun Jin will be joined by a talented cast, including Chang Ryul, Yoo Jae Myung, Yoon Se Ah, TWICE’s Kim Da Hyun, and Lee Si Woo.

The production team has praised Seo Hyun Jin’s acting, stating, “She doesn’t just play the role; she fully embodies it. Her sincerity and depth will draw viewers into the character’s journey.”

Seo Hyun Jin stars as Seo Joon Kyung, a successful obstetrician-gynecologist with a hidden past. After a traumatic family accident years ago, she fled, using a facade of confidence to shield her secret. Her carefully constructed walls begin to crumble when a man sees through her act and recognizes her hidden loneliness.
