The drama, directed by Cho Young-min and written by Park Eun-young and Park Hee-kwon, is based on the Swedish original series Love Me. It tells the story of a somewhat selfish yet ordinary family, where each member embarks on their own love journey, growing and evolving along the way.

Love Me K-drama Confirmed Lead Cast

Seo Hyun-jin takes on the role of Seojung-kyung, a single obstetrician who appears to have it all together but is hiding deep loneliness after a traumatic accident that shattered her family. Over time, she finds solace and comfort in a neighbor who notices her struggle.

Yoo Jae-myung plays her father, Seojin-ho, a community office manager who, despite his constant smile, is hiding his own despair. After a retirement decision, he faces the darkest time of his life and unexpectedly finds love.

Lee Si-woo portrays Seojung-kyung’s younger brother, Seojun-seo, who is a romantic and immature character. While he is grateful for his sister’s support, he struggles to balance his responsibilities, especially when it comes to his relationship with his girlfriend.

Yoon Se-a plays Jin Ja-young, a cheerful tour guide who is more invested in the trips she organizes than the tourists themselves. However, when she meets Seojin-ho, a man seemingly void of emotion, she is drawn to his complexity, leading to a blossoming love story.

Chang Ryul plays Ju Do-hyun, a music director with a free-spirited, casual style, who becomes involved with Seojung-kyung after recognizing her struggle with loneliness. Dahyun makes her acting debut as Ji Hyeon, Seojun-seo’s childhood friend. Initially oblivious to her feelings, she gradually realizes that their long-standing friendship has developed into love.

Love Me is set to air on JTBC, with an expected release date of August 15, 2025. The official release date has not been confirmed yet.
