Director Lee Byung Hun Exits Upcoming Fantasy K-Drama
Director Lee Byung Hun, renowned for Extreme Job and Melo Is My Nature, has stepped away from directing Kim Eun Sook’s highly anticipated Netflix series All The Love You Wish For (working title), which stars Kim Woo Bin and Suzy.
On January 27, Edaily reported that Director Lee Byung Hun left the production of All The Love You Wish For last year due to personal reasons. A production representative confirmed, saying, “Director Lee Byung Hun stepped down for personal reasons.” They also revealed that Director Ahn Gil Ho of The Glory joined as the B-team director in July 2024 to help complete filming. The representative added, “We appreciate your understanding as we cannot share further details about the timing and reasons for his departure.”
The production team shared, “‘All The Love You Wish For’ involves extensive technical work, including CGI, so we are putting in great effort during post-production. A skilled team from various fields has come together to create what we aim to be one of the best projects of the year.”
Starring Kim Woo Bin, Suzy, Ahn Eun Jin, and Noh Sang Hyun, All The Love You Wish For is a captivating fantasy rom-com that tells the story of an overly emotional genie who finds himself trapped inside a lamp.
