Upcoming Zombie K-drama Newtopia cast Reveals With New Poster Park Jung Min, Kim Jisoo & Kim Jun Han
Jisoo and Park Jung Min’s much-anticipated zombie drama, Newtopia, has been generating a lot of excitement on social media ever since romantic stills featuring the lead actors were shared. These images captured the chemistry between the two stars, sparking interest among fans and fueling anticipation for the series. However, on January 15, the drama’s production team revealed a new set of stills featuring the supporting cast, and this time, the atmosphere was completely different.
In these newly released photos, the supporting cast, including Im Seong Jae, Kim Jun Han, Lee Hak Joo, Hong Seo Hee, and others, are shown in a much darker and more intense light. Their expressions are filled with fear and distress, hinting at the terrifying and dangerous events their characters will face in the story. The stark contrast between the romantic moments of the leads and the terrified expressions of the supporting cast has left fans even more curious about the storyline. With this new look, Newtopia promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, blending thrilling horror with intense emotional moments.
Newtopia follows the story of soldier Lee Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min) and Young Joo (Kim Ji Soo) as they struggle to survive in a zombie-infested Seoul. Amidst the chaos, they desperately try to reunite, facing countless dangers along the way.

Im Seong Jae plays Private First Class Ra In Ho, an older yet goofy soldier. Despite his clumsiness, which often gets him scolded, he stays respectful toward his senior, Jae Yoon.
Kim Jun Han plays Aaron Park, the general manager of Eden Hotel. Dedicated to providing top service, Aaron sees the zombie outbreak as a disaster. With his pride on the line, he struggles to protect the hotel from falling apart during the crisis.
Hong Seo Hee portrays Oh Soo Jung, a professional hotelier determined to protect the hotel. Teaming up with Jae Yoon and Ra In Ho, she bravely fights zombies and surprises her companions with her bold actions.
Seo Jin Wook is Kang Young Joo’s (Jisoo) university senior. In the photo, he is seen with a golf club in hand, possibly to stay prepared for a possible zombie attack. He initially appears to be a soft person, however the zombie fight will show him in a different light.
Lee Hak Joo takes on the role of Sung Tae Sik, the brain of the group, who acts with logic and composure. Tae Sik, also known as Alex, is a celebrity and CEO of a gaming company.
Newtopia is set to air every Friday starting February 7, with episodes premiering at 8 p.m. KST. The series will run until March 21, offering fans a thrilling and action-packed ride through its exciting zombie-filled storyline.
