Naruebet Kuno

Naruebet grew up in Hat Yai and attended Hatyaiwittayalai School before moving to Bangkok for higher education. He studied at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Communication Arts, where he gained early recognition as a director. His talent was evident when he directed the faculty’s annual play and became widely known for a viral video promoting the 69th Chula–Thammasat Traditional Football Match in 2013.

After graduating, Naruebet was invited by director Kriangkrai Vachiratamporn to join the writing team for the third season of Hormones, a popular Thai television series. His contributions were well received, and he later co-directed the season, further solidifying his place in the industry. In 2016, he collaborated with Kriangkrai and Nadao Bangkok CEO Songyos Sugmakanan to direct a segment in the sports anthology series Project S.

Naruebet’s breakthrough came with Side by Side, a heartfelt drama about an autistic teen playing competitive badminton with his cousin. He co-wrote the screenplay with Pattaranad Bhiboonsawad, and the series was praised for its emotional depth and authenticity. He went on to direct Nadao Bangkok’s hit series My Ambulance (2019) and I Told Sunset About You (2020), both of which received critical acclaim. With a strong storytelling style and a keen eye for emotional narratives, Naruebet continues to be a major creative force in Thai entertainment.
