New K-drama Pump Up The Healthy Love Confirms Release Date

The upcoming K-drama Pump Up The Healthy Love (also known as 24/7 Fitness Center) has officially confirmed its release date for April. The drama boasts an exciting cast, with Lee Jun-young, Jung Eun-ji, and Kim Kwon taking on the lead roles. Set in a lively fitness center, the series promises a mix of romance, comedy, and personal growth as the characters navigate their relationships and ambitions.
Pump Up the Healthy Love is a romantic comedy centered around Do Hyun Joong (Lee Jun Young), a passionate gym owner who helps his anxious and unmotivated gym members transform their lives through fitness.
Lee Jun Young stars as Do Hyun Joong, a former world-class bodybuilder who defied the odds from birth, having weighed less than a 1.5-kilogram dumbbell. Through sheer determination, he rose to fame by winning the prestigious Mr. David bodybuilding competition. However, after vanishing from the spotlight, he unexpectedly returns—not as a champion, but as the owner of a struggling neighborhood gym. Now, he must juggle running a business, coaching gym members, and rediscovering his own purpose.

Jung Eun Ji plays Lee Mi Ran, a gym newcomer with little to no muscle. After a heartbreaking breakup, she unexpectedly finds herself at a gym, where she meets Hyun Joong. Under his strict training, she embarks on a journey to transform not just her body but her entire life. What begins as a simple way to move on soon becomes a bigger challenge—enduring Hyun Joong’s intense workouts and pushing past her limits.

Lee Mi Do plays Rosa, a sharp veteran staff member who keeps a close eye on Hyun Joong, the gym’s new owner. Meanwhile, Lee Seung Woo stars as Alex, the gym’s charming yet muscular mascot, earning the nickname Baby-faced Muscle Man while loyally following Hyun Joong.

Pump Up the Healthy Love is scheduled to premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m., promising a fun and refreshing take on fitness, romance, and self-improvement.
