Mother and Mom tells the story of Jung Eun (Jeon Hye-jin), a devoted working mother preparing for her daughter’s future while balancing a demanding job. As she entrusts her own mother, Ji-ah (Jo Min-soo), with the task of shuttling her 7-year-old daughter Seo-yoon (Kim Sa-rang) to various after-school academies, tensions arise within their three-generation household. Set in Daechi-dong, a neighborhood known for its intense academic competition, the drama sheds light on the emotional and social struggles that come with raising a child in such a high-pressure environment.
