Hyper Knife K-Drama Announces Premiere Date – Starring Park Eun Bin & Sul Kyung Gu
The highly anticipated sci-fi thriller Hyper Knife is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 19, 2025. Directed by the talented Kim Jung-hyun, the series boasts a stellar cast, including Park Eun-bin, Sul Kyung-gu, Park Byung-eun, and Yoon Chan-young in lead roles. Hyper Knife is a medical thriller centered on the intense rivalry between Se Ok (Park Eun-bin), a once-promising genius doctor, and her former mentor, Deok Hee (Sul Kyung-gu), who brought about her fall from grace.
In the series, Park Eun-bin gives a powerful performance as Jung Se Ok, a brilliant but disillusioned doctor obsessed with brain surgery. Once highly respected, she is now forced to work in the shadows after her mentor, Choi Deok Hee, revokes her medical license, leaving her to navigate a dark path filled with challenges and vengeance.
This role marks Park Eun Bin’s first-ever portrayal of a doctor, and her heated on-screen rivalry with Sul Kyung Gu is set to heighten the drama’s intensity. Recently released stills showcase Jeong Seok’s gripping transformation—from performing surgeries in bloodstained scrubs to delivering icy, intense stares and breaking down in uncontrollable sobs.
